Cologne, October 5th, 2025 – The great tradition of Italian food and wine excellence took center stage in Germany at the Anuga Aftershow, the event organized by I Love Italian Food to celebrate Italy and its outstanding products at the conclusion of the world’s leading food and beverage trade fair.

The exclusive evening took place at the stunning Kölnsky, a panoramic venue offering breathtaking views of the Cologne skyline, where selected guests – including industry professionals, partners, and representatives from the international food scene – enjoyed an authentic and engaging experience inspired by Italian conviviality.

The night featured exclusive culinary performances that showcased the versatility and quality of Italian ingredients. World champion Davide Civitiello delighted the audience with his mastery of Neapolitan pizza, while the Chefs of the Associazione Italiana Cuochi Germania e.V. presented a selection of iconic Italian dishes prepared live: egg tagliolini tossed in a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano PDO and dusted with truffle-flavored Parmigiano Reggiano, Spaghettone del Leone with tomato sauce, fresh basil, and Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, and Paccheri with sweet Gorgonzola PDO.

In addition to the dishes prepared by the chefs, the Aftershow offered a tasting of authentic Italian products – from extra virgin olive oil to Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI, from fine cured meats to DOP cheeses by Granterre – completing a culinary journey that brought the true flavors of Italy right into the heart of Germany.

The sensory experience was further enriched by a refined selection of Sicilian wines signed Cutrera-Bastianich, while signature cocktails curated by Acetaia Giusti blended tradition and innovation, reinterpreting authentic Italian taste in a contemporary key.

An event that once again succeeded in combining conviviality, excellence, and networking, bringing the unmistakable culture of Italian food and wine to the world.
