The Italian Show 2025 kicks off again starting from Germany: Munich celebrates the authenticity of Made in Italy

2025 begins under the banner of Italian taste with the return of The Italian Show to Germany – the fourth time this major event, dedicated to professional gastronomy and the promotion of Italian food and wine supply chains, has been hosted here.

Munich, and in particular the modern setting of the Eisbach Studios, was the backdrop for a rich and content-filled day designed to connect producers, chefs, pizza makers, industry experts, and food service professionals. The German edition, which marked the first stop of the 2025 tour, delivered an engaging experience thanks to a program that combined training, tasting, and entertainment.

One of the new features this year was the introduction of thematic stages aimed at providing targeted educational content for those working in the HO.RE.CA. sector. The Tasting Show featured renowned chefs who shared techniques and traditions of Italian cuisine with an innovative and international perspective. The Pizza Show celebrated the artistry of pizza makers, turning pizza preparation into a true performance. Meanwhile, the Talk Show brought together restaurateurs, communication professionals, and food & beverage innovators to discuss emerging trends and future strategies for promoting Made in Italy abroad.

Once again, The Italian Show was a journey into Italian cuisine, created to showcase the excellence of our agri-food sector and strengthen the connection between those who produce and those who bring Made in Italy to tables around the world every day. In Munich, some of the most celebrated figures in the culinary scene took the stage: Gennaro Esposito, Biagio Salerno, Heros De Agostinis, Paco Zanobini, Marco Giannattasio, the Lady Chef Italiane team, and the Cuochi Contadini from Campagna Amica. Their masterclasses and showcooking sessions offered the audience not only education, but also emotion and entertainment.

Special focus was given to the world of pizza and the role of the Pizza Chef. The Pizza Show featured some of the most respected international masters: Massimiliano and Francesco Calvello, Filippo Licciardo, and Marino Bove, who led the audience on a journey through doughs, fermentation, fried specialties, and new gourmet trends — always keeping a strong link to tradition.

Italian wine also played a leading role, with guided tastings in the Enoteca area, alongside a space dedicated to Mixology, where liqueurs and bitters were served neat or reimagined into cocktails designed to enhance Italian flavors.

A day that once again confirmed The Italian Show as a valuable platform for connection, dialogue, and celebration of authentic Made in Italy.
